About the Host
My name is Shannon, and my family has been coming to Hager Shores for over 70 years. As a child our annual family trip was always to Coloma. Our family looked forward to spending the days at the beach and the nights around the campfire looking at stars. My adult daughter has also grown up with the same nostalgia.
My Story
Last year I decided it was time to build a home in Michigan and keep the family traditions going. After much thought I decided I wanted to open my doors to others so they can experience the joy that this area brings to me and my family.
Although Michigan is definitely my happy place, I am an avid traveler. I have been eight countries and all over the U.S. I love learning new cultures and ways of life. Staying at AirB&B’s has allowed me to become more immersed in other cultures. In my early years I was a hotel manager and truly have a passion for making guest experiences the best possible.
